Eventually the media will almost have to report some truth … maybe

February 11, 2018

Good morning folks! I’ve been thinking a lot lately about just how hypocritical and genuinely ‘fake’ the major media really is, especially concerning President Trump. I’ve lived through quite a few presidents (more than some, less than others, but enough) and I can’t think of any who has suffered such vicious and blatant threatening attacks from every entity of news sources, political hacks, television and radio personalities, and even government and law enforcement people. It’s been a stunning 24/7 onslaught of literal “take-down” President Trump campaign. We can begin by the mockery by the Hollywood elite, making utter asses out of themselves.  Then we can look at the claims by the loony media that Donald Trump really did not want to become President.  I find that one kind of weird. I mean, Donald Trump colluded with the Russians, essentially cheating to win an election that he really didn’t want to win?

They media, Democrats, Hollywood, #Never Trumpers, Republicans attacked Trump, his hair, his clothes, his eating habits, his wife, his kids, his money (first, he’s really broke … then he’s richer than any other president), his mannerisms, his speech, if he holds his wife’s hand, if he doesn’t, his weight, his diet, his health, the size of his hands, the amount of television he watches, how many diet Cokes he drinks in a day, and even if he’s good in bed! And the bottom line is, he wasn’t supposed to win, period. But he did and the attacks have only increased.

The hatred for President Trump was/is such that even superiors in the FBI, DoJ and Obama’s Justice Dept. developed an “insurance policy” just in case the unexpected happens … a Trump presidency. I’m really amazed how the media hides or buries the crimes of sedition committed by team Obama. I really don’t watch television, but my little wife will turn on the national and local news while she prepares dinner. I have to sit through it in utter disgust realizing that “this” is what the vast majority of the American people get every day. The exact same aforementioned attacks against the President. Only the television folks are really “serious” and “concerned.” I haven’t seen even one report on the economy, job creation, military strength, border security … nothing, only the continued, way beyond tired, steady negative crap sandwiches against Trump.

The major media doesn’t even try to hide their hatred for Trump any more. They’re even hiring people to protect the nefarious actors who staged a coup against the President, and those who excused Hillary Clinton’s incredible crime spree. Heck, John Brennan was just hired by NBC and MSNBC to attack Devin Nunes (think: memo). There are others, but far too many to mention on a Sunday morning.

The media can bury important facts. They can continue chasing the Pulitzer with “breaking news” of how the wind messed up President Trump’s hair.  Eventually, they won’t be able to hide the booming economy, the strengthening of the military, the victory over ISIS, the respect for the President and America globally … and the most serious seditious actions by enemies of the state within our own government is slowly but surely coming to light.

HERE is a good place to get some truth.

It’s not always easy to turn a negative into a positive…

But this negative situation has proved itself to be vitally important in exposing those for who they really are

    What they truly believe in

    And who’s side they support

    AMEN

Jeez, Steve… you are shunning TV and the media for “sources” like “BadBlue: Uncensored News”?? I mean, just look at the ads for a hint of the demographic they are after.
No wonder the country is so divisive. Please go back to FOX. They certainly don’t provide balance or substance but they do provide “awareness”. (Never thought I’d actually recommend someone watch FOX in an attempt to save their opinionated ass from falling into the abyss.)

Sigh … why is it that I have to explain in further detail with you brother Doug? I haven’t watched television for 15 years save some golf, and what I mentioned. The point, which seems so elusive to some is that if one gets their information from the major networks … which I believe is where the vast majority of people get it … then one is subject to 95+ negativity towards the President and kept in the dark regarding very important stuff. Bad Blue is simply one other source … along with Drudge, American Thinker, Town Hall. Not sure what you’re getting at regarding ‘ads’ … but most news sources will feature just about anything for the $.

I do try to reason John. In the past I had some problems containing my contempt for what I considered willful ignorance. Now though, ignorance is really no excuse as there are so many resources to choose from to find the truth of most matters. One does have to exert some diligence in the effort to filter out b.s. Much tell-tale signs of said b.s. is in the content of the liberal media. Talk about having it ‘both ways!’ One minute Trump doesn’t want to win … the next minute he’s cheating to win! One minute he’s bankrupt … the next minute he’s ultra rich. He’s been honored amongst the “pillars” of the black community … but now he’s a racist. He’s the most unpopular candidate in U.S. history … yet he won an electoral landslide. Obama is vastly more popular than Trump … suddenly Trump’s poll numbers are higher than Obama’s at the same time of his first term. Here’s an interesting article how the majority of Americans actually believe team Obama illegally spied on candidate Trump, despite the best efforts of the main stream media … http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/02/poll_americans_overwhelmingly_believe_obama_administration_improperly_surveilled_trump_campaign.html
Odd you’ll never see that on any major media. Thank you for your kind support John!

Ahhhh yeah…….. who cares how Trump acts! He’s draining the swamp! Look at all his accomplishments! But most important, the end justifies the means! All that self-affirmation passion from you two makes me wanna re-enlist. “Hail to the chief!”, he said, raising his right arm and clicking his heels.

It saddens me that you perceive things so negatively Doug. I mean you’re an intelligent guy and I just can’t get a grasp how you view things the way you do. I suppose we’re all wired differently. Again, Donald Trump was not my first choice during the campaigns. I actually voted for Ted Cruz in the Texas primary. However I firmly believe that Cruz would have gotten beat badly by Hillary. President Trump has been far more conservative in his policies than I expected and there were just three positions I voted for him on, and those he’s been working on. I also honestly didn’t think the Republicans were so anti-Trump, but just shows me how naïve I was. You mention Trump’s accomplishments? Well, one has to dig pretty deep to actually locate them because naturally the media hasn’t reported any … like I mentioned before. But the accomplishments definitely are there and are quite impressive. I hope you have a great week Doug and I appreciate your input here at humble C & H.

You mention pretty much the eternal question between the both of us, Steve.. and the entire divisiveness in the land… we each can’t understand the misguided opinion of the other as it relates to Trump. But what difference we can separate out perhaps is that Conservatives despise liberals to the point of name-calling… and liberals truly despise Trump and use colorful adjectives and slogans to define their opinion of the guy. But I think the most perplexing to me is the the right wing perpetually bangs away seemingly in some defense of Trump being Trump by bringing up Obama’s presidency, as if to suggest the reason everyone hates Trump is because he’s fixing and undoing everything Obama did. Not sure I understand that comparison.

The other oddball comparison is with Hillary… she wasn’t even president… but for some reason Trump is always compared to her. I dunno. The our differences ain’t going away any time soon.

Well Doug it’s kind of like the #Me too movement … and feminism in general. They say men are ‘pigs’ yet want to be like them … participating in the same sports, heck, even becoming men. Go figure. I like the way you word the ‘despising’ thing. Conservative “despise” liberals illustrating that by name-calling. Liberals despise Trump illustrated by ‘colorful’ adjectives. Clever actually. Anyway sir, I do not despise liberals at all. John can vouch for that for sure. As far as bringing up Obama’s presidency; come on Doug. I can’t open my web-browser without some fawning article about the Obama’s or some comparison about how good Barack is and how bad Trump is. Hillary just can’t seem to disappear on her own. However her own nefarious deeds and the impact they are having behooves those of us who care about it sure ain’t gonna let her off the hook. Lastly, I really don’t see any need to compare Hillary with Trump. Everyone knows what she is, that’s why she lost.

Perhaps Doug, this article illustrates why people like myself have difficulty justifying the bias against Trump by the media and how Barack was not just treated differently, but negative reporting by the major media was practically non-existent during the eight miserable years of Obama’s reign …

Steve, you honestly sincerely think that because 40%+ of the voters got their guy in office on a very legitimate (albeit a rather electoral anomaly not supported in the popular vote) win, a guy who revealed as a candidate that he was appalling personally as he was politically, declaring the need to drain traditional swamps, bouncing out elites, and re-arranging D.C. politics to look more like “the art of the deal”, and presume the remaining 60%+ of the voters would just fall in line and go away? That’s not even realistic.

First off, that 60%+ even has different political agendas than Trump, not to mention Trump’s persona and maverick perceptions of reality have divided the country along social, political, and cultural lines; he is no unifier in the least. He’s caustic to the general mood of the nation on both sides of political ideology. So.. you being a Trump conservative I don’t understand at all why you expected the majority of the country to blanketly support Trump… and welcome what little of his agenda he’s managed to bring forth, with open arms.

Your other “surprise” that you (and other right wingers) are unable to comprehend why the media spends a lot of time picking on Trump is exactly the reason you and your ilk loves him so much… he’s a maverick! Everything he says and does is counter to tradition, lacks common sense, has no command of the language, and is nothing like previous presidents of the 20th and early 21st century. He was a disruption in the status quo of conventional presidential decorum. Your 40% may think that’s wonderful and great… but not the remaining 60%. So I fail to understand.. what you don’t understand about all this.
But regarding the media.. Trump has a record of absolutely lying to the public… and appointing people around him with absolutely no experience. It’s natural and VERY necessary to challenge actions and accuracy, and credibility of what Trump feeds to the public. Consider this… I am seeing right now that Trump’s administration holds this record.. 1 in 3 staffers have left in his first year for various reasons. But let’s say what the problem really is… Trump brings ALL the bad press onto himself with those idiot and unfiltered (by his staff) Tweets. The crazy irony in that stuff is his excuse has always been that he wants to sidestep the fake media and go direct. Well, all he has done it keep his own staff out of the loop and add to his internal confusion.

More the question, Steve… the media may be negative about Trump.. but is any of it wrong? Now.. don’t link me up with nonsense right or even far left wing blogs and websites. Link me to the mainstream media and convey to me what they are reporting is false.. or even fake. Oh… and don’t link me to op ed’s… that’s pure opinion. This is where conservatives get lost.. your own news filter needs tuning to determine what is actually news and what is opinion. Most of those links presented in your “The American Thinker” article are simply op eds.

Finally… this obsession with Obama is truly nuts. Before Obama was 8 years of Bush.. conservatives have been represented in the past. Trump is president and that has zero to do with Obama. This schoolyard “why you picking on me when he was worse” demonstrates Trump’s obvious child-like response to most things in life. He should forget Obama and do his own thing. Of course the media was far less caustic toward Obama in the Obama years. Obama actually tried to stay out of trouble.. Trump brings it on.

BUT… conservatives love him for everything anti-Trumpsters dislike about him. Actually, being an old fart.. my conservatism and republicanism of my past bears little resemblance to this Trumpian mess. The truly sad part about all this, Steve… is that there are right wingers out there who actually are gloating and relishing in all this Trump disruption, divisiveness, and national uncertainness. That’s not being American.

Okay, I have a few minutes to reply and I’ll try for the Reader’s Digest version …
To begin with lets take your 40-60% take on the voters …
Lets just say that Hillary actually won the popular vote (and for the sake of argument I’m not going to say it was illegals and voter fraud and all the other nonsense). That happens to be Trump winning 46.1% of that to Hillary winning 48.2%. Where you come up with 40-60 is … well … I suppose in your mind. Trump won 306 electoral votes to Hillary at 232 electoral votes. That means that Trump won 57% of electoral votes to Hillary’s 43% of electoral votes. I’d call that a landslide. Putting the two % together … popular % with electoral % means that Trump’s total = 103% to Hillary’s 91.2%. Sir, Hillary got spanked and that is a fact … legally, legitimately, the American voters chose the President.
I don’t have to take you to right or left wing sites. I’m forced to watch the major news nearly every night via my wife. What is fake? Very close to 100% of it. If it isn’t out right fake, it’s obviously presented with far left leaning slants. Take for example Trump proposal to revamp the food stamp program. I read a headline at the HuffPost or some loony liberal rag … “Trump is eliminating food stamps for the poor and replacing them with beans and canned goods” or something close to that. Not even close.
Also, I noticed another headline about Vice President Pence and his wife looking ‘boring’ … with no explanation. They were visiting the Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center; I guess the media expected smiles and high-fives. Like I said … nearly 100% fake.
But sir, like you requested, I’ll not provide any links. Perhaps you can research the truth of the matter yourself.
I couldn’t care less about Obama and I personally loathe G.W. Bush even more than Obama.
Sad to say most of your lengthy response is in general terms which can be summed up in Obama = good … Trump = bad. Obama = polished and poised, Trump = crass and rude. Obama = skilled liar, Trump = lousy liar. and so on.
I gotta go and actually earn some of the big $ they are paying me. Have a great week. Oh, one final thing … why does the media in general fawn over the murderous regime of North Korea and insult the Vice President of the United States? I can tell you why, but I say to myself … “why bother?” and, “I won’t.”

    Hi Steve!

For someone who doesn’t watch the news you have a good grip on what the media of mass deception tries to hide from their dumbed-down viewers!

There are certain shows that I watch on the Fox News Channel. Tucker Carlson, Hannity, The Ingraham Angle (didn’t care for her demeanor at first, but later shows improved), and just because it’s often so funny – Greg Gutfeld’s show on the weekends!

There are anti-Trump pundits on FNC (i.e. Shepard Smith, Chris Wallace) and they are supposed to be “hard news” anchors? NOPE! They can’t hide their hatred and negativity about President Trump and it’s so obvious!

I have relatives who believe all of the propaganda and harsh rhetoric about Trump that they hear and see on the other cable and alphabet news shows. I try to encourage them to read the truth online and view FNC for the genuine stories about what is actually going on, but it mostly falls on deaf ears. So, I don’t discuss any of it with them anymore.

There is so much hatred and animosity being spewed against conservatives, Christians, Jews, white people; you name it! It is all part of the Deep State plan to divide us and get their evil agenda back on track.

2 Corinthians 4 has always been an encouragement for me during times like this where it “tests man’s souls.”

The Gospel of Christ is “veiled to those who are perishing.” I also think that the truth about what has gone on in the 0bama/Clinton era of politics, the attempts for most of the MSM to cover it up and not report it, and the cesspool of Washington D.C. criminals leading in the organizations that are meant to protect Americans (FBI, CIA, DOJ), is incomprehensible to those who were, and continue to be, blinded through nefarious people by the enemy of our souls.

    God bless!

    Christine

When we are reading comments we need to be aware that when the comments get too lengthy and disjointed and rambling in circles, speaking much and saying nothing … we need to take care as to carefully consider the balance or the lack thereof and by the same token the significance or the insignificance thereof. I am sure everyone recalls the old saying that if Liberals can’t baffle them with brilliance they will try to blind them with bull-hockey. It is typical of the genre. No escaping it. Hatred, when too deep, too long and too-much-rooted has been shown in some cases to result in fragmented reasoning. Then there are others who just get their jollies by wasting other people’s times with senseless rambling circular arguments that mean nothing and go nowhere. I am always interested in the credentials of anyone who proposes to speak about complex subjects such as politics. I always ask myself, “Does this person or that person really have qualifications to speak about certain things or are they just frustrated and need to have a place to grind their individual axes. — I know that YOU are solid and straightforward and trustworthy when you blog about something …. but others? I am not so sure sometimes.
