Unite Behind Donald Trump

May 6, 2016

Donald Trump beat out 16 other candidates and got more votes in the Republican primaries than any other candidate in history. Not too bad.

Sigh … the relentless attacks against Donald Trump continues unabated by the likes of Mark Levin, Erick Erickson and others. They are more than willing to hand over the White House and bolster the destruction of America to Hillary Clinton. I was listening (briefly) to Mark Levin yesterday and this guy is completely unhinged. I say “briefly” because I couldn’t take any more of his ridiculous ranting and had to shut him off.

I’m really getting weary with the sanctimonious, self-congratulating “defenders” of liberty, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These folks who continue to attack Trump and his supporters either don’t realize the damage to this election they’re causing or they really don’t give a damn. As long as they can say, “We fought for conservatism, and our principles.” But they are assisting in the destruction of both those characteristics. Liberalism and the perverse ‘values’ thereof have been successfully, incrementally overcoming conservatism for decades. Liberals get what they want gradually, a little at a time until we can now see the moral decay, the dumbing down of the educational system and the total lawlessness which has taken over every major city as evidence of liberal control.

These “true” conservatives still don’t get it. It’s all or none for them. I heard another talk show host, Chris Alsedo talk with a caller. The caller ranted on and on about how we had a chance to elect a Christian Constitutional conservative in Ted Cruz but Trump got the call. He was incredulous vowing to never support Trump. I couldn’t help but sit there shaking my head, thinking to my self, “Yeah, but Cruz lost, and lost bad.” NEVER HILLARY, should be the rallying call to every conservative and every Republican. Hell, every American as well, regardless of party affiliation.

Anyway, here’s a great article along with video, thanks to Western Journalism … (excerpt)
Black Female Executive Speaks Out About Working For Trump Family

Lynne Patton had had enough, so she decided to lay out exactly what she thought about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Patton, who is black, shared her judgments in a letter she read on a YouTube video, which has more than 127,000 views.

“I can no longer remain silent about the repeated and reprehensible attempts to align my boss and his family with racist hate-mongering groups, campaigns and messaging,” wrote Patton, director of the Eric Trump Foundation and assistant to Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. She said the video was not part of her employment but was triggered by the reaction Trump has received during his campaign.

“To the skeptics who will undoubtedly claim that I am doing this at the behest of the Trump family or with the promise of reward, I deliberately chose not to seek their approval nor council in advance to this video for fear that there would be more concern for me and its potential viral ramifications than they would be for themselves and the fact that quite simply this is the right thing to do,” said Patton, who posted the video on YouTube and has been flooded with comments on Twitter.

“The Trump family that I know is, without question, one of the most generous, compassionate and philanthropic families I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing and the honor to call friends,” she said. “They have been incredibly loyal to me and to the countless dedicated people they employ around the world – hiring more minority and female executives than any other company for which I’ve ever worked.”

    Hi Steve!

I know that we disagree about Trump, but it was nice to see and hear this positive video that Lynne Patton so bravely put out there!

I included credit to your blog (you are still a private blog, right?) with an additional link to the Western Journalism article.

My post today shares both sides of the Trump debate. Hope you have some time to read it!

If he does become president, I sincerely hope that Ms. Patton’s views about Trump are all true. However, so many others (including people who have psycho-analyzed him – see link in my blog post) see him in a far different way.

The American people were fooled by 0bama back in 2008 and again in 2012. I pray that we don’t get fooled again…whomever ends up being our next president.

    Take care and God bless,

      Hey Christine!
Yes we do disagree somewhat on the Trump thing. I was always for Mr. Cruz first. But now that he’s out and Trump is the last man standing i’m not getting why conservatives don’t rally around him. Okay, he’s a weasel but again, he doesn’t have to be a conservative or a Christian or polite or any of the things we look for in a candidate to provide the protection this country and the American citizens need right now. He hasn’t let up at all about his “wall” and about stopping the Muslim invasion.
Anyway, I’m venturing over to Talk Wisdom for a look.
      “See” you there!

Thank you dear lady! Take good care also!

Thank you for always being so polite and kind towards me…even when we disagree on a political candidate. Such differences should not hurt our friendship. Heck…my best friend is so pro-Trump it’s unbelievable! I still love her, of course, and our friendship will survive this difference.

On the other hand, I still have gnat-man commenting over at my blog and he continues to spew names at me. What a guy…huh? LOL!

      Oh well…such is life…

Ha haaa! Yes ma’am, I noticed the ‘gnat’ was back! You handle his nonsense very well though.
I don’t fret about any differences we might have Christine. I know you’re a friend of God and that’s all I need.

Glad y’all still friends. I guess nearly all the sites I visit, all I held dearly have busted apart. Of course all just internet acquaintances, nobody I knew with a handshake, not left hand mind you either. 🙂
It has been strange seeing this, blogger commenters disappearing and some saying good bye. Some blogs with joint author contributors who baled out.
Breaks my heart. Guess that old saying about who is in the foxhole with you still holds true.

I said “it has been strange seeing this”…”breaks my heart.” Didn’t mean I had any idea of C&H baling out. I too have to take a break and visit the Whissard of Oz. 🙂
