Conservative Super PAC Declares War on Donald Trump
The battle against Donald Trump is ramping up on a new front: Super PACs.
The economic conservative Super PAC “Club for Growth Action” is jumping into the fray, unveiling an Iowa ad buy with two television spots worth more than $1 million. The ads start Thursday in Iowa, both on local television and on Fox News.
The move represents the first major effort by an outside group to bring down the real estate mogul, who is leading in polls nationally and in early states. Jeb’s Super PAC, Right to Rise, will follow with anti-Trump television spots worth more than $20 million in early states.
This Super PAC wants to convince Trump supporters that he “is just another politician” and “he is, in fact, like all of the Washington insiders he rails against.”
Also the tired claim that Trump will say anything to get elected.
All that crap is so contradictory to what we’ve been hearing until now. Until now Trump has “no political experience” and he’s so brash and rude he doesn’t care who he insults. That doesn’t tell me he’ll say anything to get elected. The ones who pander to each and every group of people, whether it’s Mexicans, blacks, females etc. are the ones who will say anything to get elected and we’ve seen it time and time again. “Elect me, I’ll fix stuff!” The one thing I’m convinced about Trump is that if he says he’s going to do something, he will. Of course he’ll be fighting an uphill battle implementing a massive deportation process, but I’ll bet he’ll get it done.
To claim that Donald Trump is just like Washington insiders is ludicrous.
It’s a damn shame that this Super PAC and Jeb Bush can’t focus on Democrat candidates. Why isn’t Bush and company going after Hillary and Sanders and pointing out how dangerous they are for the country? Why isn’t Bush focusing on how stupid Hillary Clinton thinks voters are. For example she said just the other day, Bush is so bent out of shape that Trump is kicking his ass he can’t take it. He’s obsessed with making the election about ol’ Jeb and Hillary.
I’m really sick of Republicans and conservatives attacking Trump. A whole bunch of conservative folks are in his corner. Many disagree with a lot of his views but they feel like we finally have a candidate who is genuinely in touch with what the American people want. Again, the problem with conservatives is we feel we just have to have it all in a candidate. Conservative to the core on each and every issue, and folks, that ain’t ever going to happen. Conservatives could really learn from the left who are masters at incrementally getting what they want … a little at a time … until we ended up with Barack Hussein Obama, the ultimate liberal enemy of the United States.
Let’s see, the “chango fuma dor” in Iran is still proclaiming “Death to America” on a daily basis. Now, I realize in the infinite wisdom of Barack Obama, John Kerry and liberals in general, we’re not supposed to think that “Death to America” actually means “Death to America” because it doesn’t. Here’s the reason it doesn’t mean what it says; Iranians remember that the U.S. overthrew the legitimate government of Mohammad Mossadegh in 1953 and supported the dictatorial Shah who followed. So, it means “death to American policy.” HERE
Now I can’t grasp such intellectual prowess. Truthfully, I’m wondering just how many Iranians even know about 1953? The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) insists that the United States “is still the great Satan and the number-one enemy of the [Islamic] revolution, and the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation.”
Anyway, if Obama insists that chanting “Death to America” is really just for domestic consumption it has to be okay. I mean this guy is giving Iran $11.9 BILLION and that cash has no strings attached, they can spend it however they want.
Here are a few interesting tid-bits …
Iranian military action, often working through proxies using terrorist tactics, has led to the deaths of well over a thousand American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan over the last decade and a half. Throughout the course of the Iraq campaign, a variety of weapons flowed into the country through direct purchases by the government of Iran. These included Explosively Formed Penetrators (EFPs), a shaped charge designed to penetrate armor. These weapons – often camouflaged as rocks – were identical to those employed by Hizbullah against Israeli forces. In 2006, the British Telegraph revealed that three Iranian factories were “mass producing” the roadside EFP bombs used to kill soldiers in Iraq.
Iran paid Taliban fighters $1,000 for each U.S. soldier they killed in Afghanistan. The Sunday Times reported that a Taliban operative received $18,000 from an Iranian firm in Kabul as reward for an attack in 2010 that killed several Afghan government troops and destroyed an American armored vehicle.
Iran was also responsible for the attack on the USS Cole in that “In the years leading up to the Cole bombing, Iran was directly involved in establishing Al-Qaeda’s Yemen network and supported training and logistics for Al-Qaeda in the Gulf region”.
So Barack and John Kerry have been “negotiating” with Iran … giving them $11.9 BILLION. Didn’t even mention the release of the four American hostages because that might “complicate” the negotiations. Geez, talk about a disgrace. Yet Obama and company tout this a great victory. It is, for Iran. Does anyone know what the United States got out of the deal?
The U.S. State Department classifies Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism …
Countries determined by the Secretary of State to have repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism are designated pursuant to three laws: section 6(j) of the Export Administration Act, section 40 of the Arms Export Control Act, and section 620A of the Foreign Assistance Act. Taken together, the four main categories of sanctions resulting from designation under these authorities include restrictions on U.S. foreign assistance; a ban on defense exports and sales; certain controls over exports of dual use items; and miscellaneous financial and other restrictions.
Designation under the above-referenced authorities also implicates other sanctions laws that penalize persons and countries engaging in certain trade with state sponsors. Currently there are three countries designated under these authorities: Iran, Sudan, and Syria.
Isn’t there something about giving aid and comfort to the enemy of the United States that supposed to be a no-no? Or is that only in time of war? Any other time it’s cool to enrich our enemies and comfort them. To tell you the truth, I can’t think of what Obama would be doing different if he was a Muslim.
