It seems conservatism is nothing more than a popularity contest

August 8, 2015

Republicans and the so-called conservative media elites are concerning themselves with how to get rid of Donald Trump instead of going after the genuinely corrupt individuals running for president. All we’re hearing is how “unpresidential” Donald Trump is and he’s rude, while Hillary Clinton is under criminal investigation and isn’t missing a beat in her campaign. The Clinton team is destroying evidence and defying federal court orders to turn over records and team Clinton is laughing all the way to the election booth. But we don’t hear a word about it at Fox News or any of the other phony conservative blogs or news outlets. They are too busy voicing their disgust at Trump’s “rude” reaction to Megan Kelly’s off the wall opening “question” during the Republican debate the other day.  It’s just stunning how shallow and arrogant the right really is. I think it’s a disgrace and a disservice to the conservative voters who have had enough of political correctness and Casper milk-toast politicians throwing elections and ending up with corrupt freaks like Obama and possibly Hillary Clinton. Hell, the liberal media has reported more of her crap than the right-leaning media. But the liberal media isn’t going after her like the conservative media is going after Trump. Someone tell me why and how she is still in the running for the Democrat nomination? I know that one reason is the right leaning media isn’t focused on her corruption … just on how the Republican candidates comb their hair and how elegant and refined they deliver their drivel.

I’m so sick of this massive popularity contest ingrained in conservatism, while America is burning to the ground.  It’s torquing my gourd.

Good thing I am already slightly mental, makes a tiny bit easier to wonder if this is just a bad reality show or not. Nope, I always wake up.

Stoopid Republicans swarm on Trump like Hyenas on a dead, maggot filled zebra. They have done nothing about the vile Obamanazi and all it has done to wage ruin and despair upon this once fine Republic. They won the last election that we gave them and they do nothing, not a fooking thing. Along comes a rebel and one who refuses to be PC or play by the rules of Mordor on the Potomoac.

I would bleed some more but I think I am out of blood.

You’re absolutely correct PatriotUSA. It’s sickening how envious the establishment Republicans are and how they’re using the media to destroy Trump.

The blood will really be running if this nonsense doesn’t stop soon. I don’t think it will be just a nose. Trump is the least of the GOP problems

Indeed, he is the least of the problems the GOP has. The epic failure of the GOP is doing anything to stop tyranny from Obamanazi and such ilk, the list is now so long, the GOP has lost it’s identity and is now just the right hand of the ‘new’ communists, the democrats.

You are correct, there will be blood running freely. Matter of when, not if.

Trump with all his faults is the best thing to happen to the GOP. Did you see what Lindsay Graham said? Something like it would be better to lose the White House than to win it with Trump! I rest my case against these freaks.

I wanted to make a post about this on ONR; however I was to angry to be focused and concise as you have been. They require us to “dot our “I”s and cross our “T”s” by having verifiable links to substantiate posts; acting as -but not protected by law- investigative reporters. I wish you would join ONR. Trump ought to focus on Hillary and other problem women, not women in general.

Down at Gut-level America where us “Ordinaries” live I believe so many people have come to the point where they are obsessed with wanting to be entertained and I think they want their politicians to be (A) Perfect and without blemish or fault, (B) High-energy, flamboyant, colorful and flashy, (C) Confrontative, combative — like the feeling you get from a video game — and (D) able to deliver a memorable “Performance.”

I think a lot of Americans are starting to look at their politicians and the whole political process in much the same way they view their soap operas and sit coms.

The politicians who are always on the prowl for ratings and approval from their audience work very hard to meet the demands of their viewers so the whole political “Thing” drifts away from substance into a glitzy “Show” meant to draw the most viewers and sell the most tickets if you will.

Maybe that is the reason so many modern American politicians see the need to hire script writers and PR agents —- which they do! I think the messages coming from modern American politicians is meant less to convince voters of a need to address issues and more to gather plaudits, applause and credits toward some kind of unseen political Oscar award or something.

This means that too many people start to watch the “Action” on the political stage and start thinking of it as only another “Movie” and therefore, miss the point and fail to take the issues seriously.

That’s a little bit of what I think has happened and a little of what is going on right now.

John, you always think out problems and solutions well. Better than me. I just say what the U.S. and the world needs now isn’t love, sweet love. But Fleet Glycerin. lol

See this and I writing a post as I type this:

PC ‘murika. I so hate it.

While everyone is bashing Trump and supporting a host of useless career politicians in both parties, America is near dead on the vine.

We need Rhodesia. It had many positives and merits. No, it was far from perfect but we are rapidly becoming South Africa.

I am sure Obamanazi and Lynch are doing fist bumps and pinching each others twats.

Extreme case of the pissed offs.
