Random stuff for July 8, 2013

July 8, 2013

I’ve got to give liberals credit. They mock and proclaim conservatives are “paranoid” because we observe team Obama obviously destroying the liberties and freedoms we have.  The really ridiculous ones try to be clever … “If our government intended to take confiscate guns, they would have done it already.”  Yet they get very fearful and “paranoid” when some states may seek to put some regulations to stop the murder of unborn children past the period after 20 weeks of development in the womb, claiming that is attack on women’s health care. Let’s see … snipping a living child’s spinal cord or tearing it’s head off is an attack on women’s health care. Oh, I had one guy tell me that it’s better to kill the child than take a chance on it not growing up happy or possibly poor. Okay, I get it.

You know how liberals mock and degrade Fox News and claim conservatives get all their news from that media outlet? Of course they get theirs from MSNBC and other really lousy, biased and racist broadcast programs. It just so happens Fox News is the number one televised news broadcast service in America.

Well anyway, enough about the more feeble-minded of the human race … we’re told to comfort them, so I’m doing my best. I guess I should take a look at some of usual chaos and lies we’re constantly exposed to via team Obama.  Okay, here we go …

In the LIE department:

Obama spoke. I don’t even have to seek any particular thing out that he said. Whatever it was, he was lying.

John Kerry got caught lying about spending time on his multimillion dollar yacht at the height of the revolt in Egypt.

Over at there’s a great piece …

The Obama Scandals Continue

I’ve often commented that Obama makes appointments based on the desire to make himself look better; obviously (rather than for the good of the country) Obama also looks for easily manipulated and/or thuggish politically devious staff.
How else to explain Hillary Clinton? Timothy Geithner? Eric Holder?
And then John Kerry.
John Kerry.
Married to a loaded Republican’s widow, kept “man” to Tah-ra-zah and the quintessential Boston Brahmin that so many of the elite used to ridicule, now spends his Gatsby days sporting around the globe, old man, and talking through his nose to accomplish the impossibleachieve Middle East peace while lecturing India on their carbon emissions.
Now that he’s Secretary of State, we know what’s important to him.
The Impossible Dream.
And his $7 million gas guzzling carbon emitting yacht.
When a CBS reporter spotted him, the State Department in true Benghazi form, lied about his whereabouts, claiming Kerry was working hard all day in DC on the Egypt mess.
Then another CBS reporter saw him. Oopsie! Darn those omnipresent cameras! You might say he just kinda Lurched into that tough spot without thinking!

Here is a very interesting article regarding federal and state law enforcement authorities … (excerpts)

Sheriff to the Feds: You are on Notice  by:

Fact: federal agencies do not have state powers. Due to the Constitution’s structure of dual sovereignty, the feds have no authority to enforce state laws. Furthermore, states cannot be compelled to enforce federal laws.

In 1994, the Tenth Amendment was reaffirmed by the Court when Sheriff Mack and Printz sued the Clinton Administration. The opinion in Mack and Printz v. United States stated, “The Framers rejected the concept of a central government that would act upon and through the States, and instead designed a system in which the State and Federal Governments would exercise concurrent authority over the people. The Federal Government’s power would be augmented immeasurably and impermissibly if it were able to impress into its service–and at no cost to itself–the police officers of the 50 States…Federal control of state officers would also have an effect upon the separation and equilibration of powers between the three branches of the Federal Government itself.”

Feds challenge the state authority all the time. FDA agents raid raw milk farmers at gunpoint; DEA agents nab drug dealers; ATF agents steal guns and sells them to cartels across the border; even IRS agents bust in SWAT style and take down tax evaders. All of these agencies are appointed and directed by the federal executive himself. And every single one of these federal agents need state and local help. All of these usurpations originate from the Prohibition era when the 18th Amendment was ratified and the Volstead Act was signed into law.

You’ve seen the cliché a million times on TV (hell we have enough fictional cop shows). The feds come in, trying to act all bad, grabbing  jurisdiction. They do a little rooster dance, and the local cops always back down! It’s garbage straight from Hollywood! Back before the Prohibition era, federal authorities would actually have to come in and ask sheriffs to enforce their federal laws or even state laws in a sheriff’s jurisdiction. But when the 18th Amendment was ratified, it specified that” federal and state governments would have concurrent powers to enforce the ban on intoxicating beverages.” Now the feds assume the states will just enforce any “law” it comes up with. Today, every activity with a black market has a special little federal task force waiting to stop you.

Anyone with half a brain knows the Osama Bin Laden raid was a fraud. No body, no witnesses, no nothing except Barack Obama and Joe Biden boasting about having Bin Laden murdered, which, sealed the fate of the Navy SEALs. You know, if anyone is going to leak confidential information it’s got to be Obama and Biden. Anyway, now to insure no one will ever know the truth about it …

The Associated Press:

The top U.S. special operations commander, Adm. William McRaven, ordered military files about the Navy SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden’s hideout to be purged from Defense Department computers and sent to the CIA, where they could be more easily shielded from ever being made public.

The secret move, described briefly in a draft report by the Pentagon’s inspector general, set off no alarms within the Obama administration even though it appears to have sidestepped federal rules and perhaps also the U.S. Freedom of Information Act.

I had to laugh at this one …

Amanda Bynes Calls President Obama, Michelle Obama “Ugly”

Amanda Bynes has added the President and First Lady to her ongoing list of “ugly” people. The 27-year-old actress slammed Barack and Michelle Obama on Twitter Monday, July 8.

“Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are ugly!” Bynes tweeted.

MORE HERE  … finally someone telling the truth!

You know how liberals mock and degrade Fox News and claim conservatives get all their news from that media outlet? Of course they get theirs from MSNBC and other really lousy, biased and racist broadcast programs. It just so happens Fox News is the number one televised news broadcast service in America. – – –

Let’s get a little perspective before we go blowing off about this shall we? – – –

    1. CBS by itself has 5 times more viewers than Fox.

    2. This only proves that polls can be made to say anything someone wants them to say and this “Polling Authority” will now be no-doubt be viewed as the tool of the elite white right wing force that is destroying America and controlling what passes for minds among some of the more intransigent mis-informed in the country.

    The poll proves nothing!

CBS have 5 times more viewers than Fox? Hmmmm …. hello source.
Or maybe if you repeat that enough it might make it true … at least in your mind.

    • July 9, 2013 7:47 am

That’s what the righties do isn’t it? Why shouldn’t I copy what the righties do? It seems to work for them.

    • July 9, 2013 8:00 am

I provided the source for my claim and it’s a very reliable one. Your claim as always is baseless. But I expect that. Like I told Peggy, just because you repeat something time and again won’t make it true. Ever.

      You are so right!

That whole Obama birth certificate thing comes to mind.

By the way – – – if memory serves me right wasn’t it the “Gallup Poll” that predicted Romney would win the election over Obama by a “Landslide?”

Now that would make for one really “trustworthy: polling authority wouldn’t it?

    • July 9, 2013 5:14 am

I don’t have any idea what Gallup predicted. If anyone wanted to know the out come of the election long before the voting started, they could have simply asked me.

    • July 9, 2013 7:45 am

It’s Gallup that came out with that Fox News being the “Top” network. Who can trust polls? Like you said – – they could have asked – – – you.

    • July 9, 2013 9:30 am

And what is this supposed to be? It simply confirms the fact about Fox News. Geez! You link to a far-left web site for credibility???
The Raw Story… man-o-man. You’re a lost cause and should spend more time say … knitting or playing checkers. Staying on topic isn’t your forte.

    • July 9, 2013 9:35 am

Forget the site and play the video. Listen to the man himself.

    • July 9, 2013 1:47 pm

Sigh … we can’t fix some things but for the uninformed and ignorant … I suggest the same advice for you as for Peggy. If you take heed you won’t make foolish comments.

    • July 9, 2013 11:07 pm

O.K., I can see the point here – – he was speaking specifically of certain individuals ON Fox but not about ALL of Fox which brings me to the question – – how do these individuals keep their jobs at Fox?

Can I also assume that some of the Rightist Pundits are contesting only the views of selected persons IN the government and not the GOVERNMENT ITSELF?

    • July 9, 2013 10:02 am

Gee – – – thanks for the compliments. I don’t knit and I hate checkers.

I have to agree with you about the “Lost Cause.”

I think that started back in 1962 when I spent that summer in San Antonio and the temperature got to be 106 one afternoon. I haven’t been the same since.

I totally believe Fox News has more viewers.

I also know that a University of Maryland study published in 2010 discovered that Fox News viewers were the most widely misinformed news consumers around on a whole host of issues.

      Obviously you watch Fox News!

      There is audio at Raw-Story.

      That would be called credibility!

    • July 9, 2013 1:43 pm

I tried to explain to you Peggy about researching stuff out before you look foolish … but you’re a liberal …
