Clint Eastwood … Quintessential Class

September 1, 2012

Ah yes, the media has come unhinged at Clint Eastwood spanking Obama during his speech at the Republican National Convention. Let’s see, here are some of the various articles out there today …  Eastwood’s convention appearance puzzles onlookers,   Eastwood goes off-script in Romney endorsementClint Eastwood’s strange address to invisible Obama at RNCIn defense of Clint Eastwood: He was weird, but fantastic.

Each article suggests that Eastwood is somewhat senile, somewhat a rambling old fool, that was incoherent. They arrogantly suggest, in the typical “we’re smarter than you” fashion that Eastwood’s speech was laughable and weird and that the Romney camp simply tolerated this old man, but was  really laughing at him.

Well, as I watched Mr. Eastwood and listened to his speech, I will say he is intelligent and more coherent than the rambling fool that squats in the White House. He hit it out of the park as he started his speech making the point that 23 million Americans are out of work and that America needs someone else to be in charge.  The fools writing the various articles claim Eastwood’s behavior, talking to an empty seat was bizarre. This is not even the least bit true, as he set the stage from the beginning that the comments he was about to make were directed at Obama as if he were sitting in the chair.  One article uses  “invisible Obama”  in the title of their post. Well, Obama has been “invisible” for nearly four years and when he does come around he swings his socialist wrecking ball on the citizens of the United States. Eastwood made factual statements about Obama’s broken promises … the promises he had no intention of keeping from the beginning.  I thought the humor of it was great, and naturally, the media, especially the liberal media can’t take a joke. One very good point he made, joking aside, is Joe Biden is the “intellect” of the Democrat Party. Kidding there, because Biden is intellectually far above the vast majority of the Democrat Party.

I didn’t see Mr. Eastwood use the teleprompter. We all know what Obama is like without one.   Click on the link if you’ve forgotten.

“We own this country”. Man, that is right on the money.  Folks even if though the media tries now to make Eastwood seem like all his oars might not be hitting the water … that guy clearly is a thoughtful, intelligent, America loving gentleman. Quintessential class all around Mr. Eastwood.

No, liberal media, the Romney campaign did not laugh at Mr. Eastwood … he got a standing ovation for the truth he spoke.

I loved it! I love Clint Eastwood the actor and producer/director and now seeing him in this arena, politics, appreciate the person he is. This was absolutely entertaining but as you mentioned some saw it in another light. He was not cruel and mean as is not the case with the democratic party, he didn’t call anyone a bad name, he just made a point…it is time to go Obama. You didn’t do the job. This is OUR country and you arrogant politicians are OUR employees.

Amen sister. It was entertaining and well done without any of the hateful stuff we hear from the left leaning entertainers.

the only thing I thought of during Clint’s speech was Empty Chair, Empty Suit.
    Romney just doesn’t have it.

Now THAT is the most intellectually thought out statement I’ve ever read! “Romney just doesn’t have it”. I’m blinded by the light of profoundness!
Pray tell John, and just what has Barack, Barry, Soetoro, Hussein, Obama, “have”? If the only thought you could muster was Empty Chair, Empty Suit, you are either hearing impaired or your thought process relates only to what you can see …. visually … though the empty chair wasn’t the focus of most of the video.
There is no question who is senile or a rambling fool if I click on the link showing Obama speaking without a teleprompter.
No John … Obama just doesn’t “have it”.

Clint is quintessential class with a long history of superior artistic abilities…and he’s not a lefty…ohhhh the shame [hehehe].

Never did I think, watching that he was ‘out there’…He knew exactly, full well what he was doing and what message he was delivering.

‘We own this country’…’Politicians are our employees’…’unemployment is a national disgrace’. The visual of the empty stool [Obama] was brilliant. Even his ‘off-color’…’No he can’t do that to himself/myself’…was…PRICELESS!

Clint made my day and unhinging the left just makes it that much better!

Obamanations time has come to go…The Nation is ready for a long dose of some well deserved R and R!

Have a wonderful Commie-Big Union Labour Day…PLU from SSF

I just watched it, and I thought he did pretty well! Every headline I saw said, “rambling,” but I didn’t find anything rambling about it. He made his points, said what he intended to say, and actually got Mr. “I’m not watching the RNC” to inadvertently admit that he actually WAS watching, at least enough to tweet about Eastwood’s performance. This seat taken? ROFL Sorry, Barry. That seat is never taken. It is assumed, and then assumed by someone else that the voters choose. You don’t own it, we own it. WE decide who sits in it. Now GTHO of it.

Yep, I think Clint’s still got it, on a lot of levels. :)

      GTHO of it is right!
I hope you and your family are having a great weekend!

Eastwood’s speech has led to today’s National Empty Chair Day! Nice Deb suggests leaving the empty chair out front during the entire “freak show” of the Demoncraps convention! Ha!!

P.S. The Dems have to bus people in to fill the empty chairs at the convention! ROTFLMAO!!!

What do you think about it?
