Navy SEALs: Yeah, Obama Should Probably Shut Up About bin Laden Now

The nauseating spectacle that is Barack Obama’s cheesy victory lap over Osama bin Laden has left a bad taste in a lot of mouths, especially to some of the folks in the military. Not that it matters to the megalomaniac.

A serving SEAL Team member said: ‘Obama wasn’t in the field, at risk, carrying a gun. As president, at every turn he should be thanking the guys who put their lives on the line to do this. He does so in his official speeches because he speechwriters are smart.

‘But the more he tries to take the credit for it, the more the ground operators are saying, “Come on, man!” It really didn’t matter who was president. At the end of the day, they were going to go.’

Chris Kyle, a former SEAL sniper with 160 confirmed and another 95 unconfirmed kills to his credit, said: ‘The operation itself was great and the nation felt immense pride. It was great that we did it.

‘But bin Laden was just a figurehead. The war on terror continues. Taking him out didn’t really change anything as far as the war on terror is concerned and using it as a political attack is a cheap shot.

In years to come there is going to be information that will come out that Obama was not the man who made the call. He can say he did and the people who really know what happened are inside the Pentagon, are in the military and the military isn’t allowed to speak out against the commander- in-chief so his secret is safe.’

When Obama talked about releasing the photos of bin Laden, he said he wasn’t going to do it, because we shouldn’t “spike the ball”. Isn’t that exactly what he’s doing right now, because he thinks it will help get him re-elected? Despicable. And to imply that Romney wouldn’t have made the same call? It’s deplorable to use something like that as a campaign strategy. But since he brought it up, I have no doubt Romney would have made the call. I would trust Romney on national security 10x over. Obama probably didn’t even want to do it, but he knew he had no choice. Give me a break.

Thanks for stopping by righthook. Personally, and I know how this sounds, I think Bin Laden has been dead for quite a few years now … but, if Obama and company want to continue with what I think is just another frad, then it’s cool for me. The problem with the Republican Party is they are way too nice. We can see the Obama machine is relentless and nothing is sacred when it comes to campaigning and winning.

Nothing would surprise me with this administration.

Bin Laden died in 2002, the NY Slimes reported it, as did several med. outlets

    The cartoon is hysterical. :)

We all knew he was going to brag-ampaign on this too, the moment it happened last year.

Heck, my kids would have given the go order to take down bin Laden had they been in that room!

Assuming it WAS bin Laden, but I’m not brave enough to call a SEAL a liar. ;)

I wouldn’t call a Navy Seal a liar either but we can see what happeded to them anyway. Dead men tell no tales.
